Hope you had a good Christmas. In case you are a little weary but still need some exercise to work off the Christmas cheer, I have an easy hike for you for Thursday Jan, 2 . Yesterday, I went out to check out a trail. Since we had about a quarter inch of precip, it was muddy. We have not got much sun and dry air, it will likely still be slippery Thursday. Don’t want anyone slipping. I am not sure you want to go all the way to the Grand Mesa this week. This is why we are back on the hard surface trail.
We will meet at one of the regular places at Coronado Shopping Center, in Clifton (think City Market) SW corner, outside Urgent Care at 0845. We will then select an exact trailhead meeting place and carpool. Temperature will be in the 30’s and mostly sunny. Expected hiking time about 2 hours.
