Join us on Wednesday February 15 when John Pearson presents an Antarctic Journey. He'll be taking us on a 22 day, 2.400 nautical mile photographer's voyage with 24 zodiac landings in the Southern Ocean (including remote areas of the Falklands, South Georgia, the Orkneys, and the Antarctic Peninsula). The time was 2009 during the southern summer (Nov & Dec). See penguins nesting ashore, seals with new pups on the rocky beaches, dolphins and whales, albatrosses and other sea birds and the ever present ice in its many sculptured shapes. The show will be at University in the Maverick Center Auditorium, Room 155 - that's at 12th and Orchard, across from Albertson's.
